Cookie Policy
What the veyda.com website and the Veyda app store on your device, what we measure, and the choices you have.
What this covers
This policy explains what the veyda.com website and the Veyda app store on your device, what we measure, and what choices you have. It is written to describe exactly what runs today. If we add or remove a tool, we update this page and change the effective date at the top.
The website
The veyda.com website is built and hosted on Framer. It uses three measurement tools: PostHog for product analytics, Google Analytics, and Framer's own built in analytics. Together these tell us which pages people read, where visitors arrive from, and where the site is confusing. The website holds no health information, so nothing measured here includes health data.
Cookies the website sets
Three cookies are set when you visit veyda.com. All three are first party, meaning they are set on veyda.com itself rather than by an outside site.
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| ph_[project key]_posthog | PostHog | Gives your browser an anonymous identifier so repeat visits count as one visitor rather than several | 1 year |
| _ga | Google Analytics | Anonymous identifier used to count visitors | 2 years |
| _ga_071VN0G7J1 | Google Analytics | Keeps track of your current visit | 2 years |
PostHog also keeps a small amount of information in your browser's local storage and session storage so that a single visit holds together as you move between pages. Clearing your browser's site data removes it. Framer's built in analytics sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device.
Session replay
PostHog records session replays on the website. A session replay is a reconstruction of a visit: the pages that loaded, where you scrolled, and what you clicked. Anything you type into a form field is masked before it leaves your browser, so we cannot see what you typed. Text that was already on the screen is captured, because that is what makes a replay readable. We use replays to find broken layouts and confusing steps. There is no session replay in the Veyda app.
Advertising and measurement
Google Analytics on this website has Google Signals turned on. When a signed in Google account holder who has allowed ads personalization visits veyda.com, Google may associate that visit with their Google account and use it for advertising and remarketing. Some of those requests go to a Google advertising domain rather than to Google Analytics directly. Under California law this may count as sharing personal information for cross context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for money.
We do not run advertising or social network pixels on the website, and there are no advertising or measurement trackers in the Veyda app. Your health record is never used for advertising, never sold, and never used to train models.
Your choices
You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. The website works normally with them blocked, and you will simply be counted as a new visitor when you return.
- Google publishes a browser add on that turns Google Analytics off on every site you visit: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- Most browsers offer a setting or extension that blocks analytics requests. We do not work around them.
- Email privacy@veyda.com and we will delete the analytics records tied to your visits.
We do not currently show a cookie banner on veyda.com, and there is no switch on the page itself to turn measurement off. If we add either, we will update this policy to describe it.
The app
The Veyda app does not use cookies. It uses secure on device storage, such as the iOS Keychain, to keep you signed in and to remember your settings. The app's analytics are described in section 3 of the Privacy Policy. They never include your health information or your conversations with Sage.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
The website does not currently detect browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. We would rather say so plainly than claim a control we have not built. If you send us a request at privacy@veyda.com, we will honor it, and we will update this section once the website recognizes these signals automatically.
Managing cookies and site storage
Every browser lets you view, clear, and block cookies and site data, usually under Privacy or Site Settings. Clearing site data for veyda.com removes the three cookies listed above along with the PostHog local and session storage. Blocking cookies does not break the site.
Changes to this policy
If we add a measurement tool, remove one, or change what any of them collect, we will update this page and change the effective date shown at the top before the change takes effect.
Unleash Your Extraordinary™
Your health has been scattered across portals, apps, and folders for years. It finally has a home. Join the private beta.
Veyda is currently in private beta. Features and availability may change, and some features shown, including Veyda Concierge and Veyda Rewards, are coming soon. The Veyda Marketplace is launching with curated lab panels, available in California only at launch, with in-home blood draws for an added fee. Veyda is not a medical provider and does not provide medical care, diagnosis, or treatment. Veyda Intelligence provides understanding and guidance, never a diagnosis, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice; always talk to a qualified clinician about your health. Where relevant, our practices are HIPAA-aligned. Your record is never for sale, never used to train models, and never shared with third-party advertisers.
