Meet the Faces of Veyda

The people building the Lifelong Health Record, and the intelligence that reads it.

Veyda was built by people who believe your health should be yours: in one place, in plain language, and understandable without a translator.

The idea began with a problem the team saw up close. Even the best care arrives in pieces. A lab result here. A wearable insight there. A training plan, a nutrition plan, a specialist’s letter, each valuable on its own and none of them aware the others exist.

Veyda connects them. One Lifelong Health Record that holds everything your health produces, and Veyda Intelligence that reads all of it and tells you what matters next. Both free, for life.

This is the team that built it.

The Founders

Jayce Simpson, CEO and Co-Founder · Lukas Nouri, COO and Co-Founder · Megan Walerius, Founder and Advisor

Veyda’s founders met inside one of the country’s most respected private health and performance facilities, among the first to bring medical care, training, recovery, and nutrition together under one roof. Working inside that model showed them what health can feel like when it comes together. It also sharpened their view of a problem that runs across the entire industry: almost everywhere else, health lives in pieces.

Jayce has been building technology since he was nineteen, when he co-founded a tech startup, led its platform development, and raised capital. He went on to spend nearly a decade leading digital strategy for the City of West Hollywood, where his job was taking complex, sensitive information and making it clear enough for anyone to act on. At the club where the three of them met, he led brand, technology infrastructure, and a major expansion of the business. Across all of it, he kept seeing the same industry-wide pattern: valuable health information scattered across apps, providers, and platforms, with no single thread connecting them.

Lukas saw it from the training floor. As a performance coach, he has worked with private clients across gyms, clinics, and sports teams, and guided family and friends through recovery after surgery, watching training, recovery, and medical context live in separate rooms even when they belong to the same person.

Megan saw it as both practitioner and member. As a practitioner, she developed and led the club’s nutrition department, building deep expertise in how food, lifestyle, and long-term health connect. As a member, she is a lifelong wellness enthusiast who has explored retreats, treatments, and longevity therapies of every kind, and knows firsthand how extraordinary each can be on its own, and what they could be together.

For the founding team, the problem went beyond work. Each has navigated serious health challenges alongside family and friends, and each learned firsthand how much falls on patients and the people who love them when the system doesn’t talk to itself.

Veyda is their answer. Three different vantage points, the same conviction: health works best when nothing about it stands alone.

The Clinical Standard

Dr. Jesus Juarez, MD, Medical Director

Veyda’s intelligence begins with a clinical foundation.

As Medical Director, Dr. Jesus Juarez brings clinical experience that includes UCLA Health, along with medical training through the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. His background spans internal medicine, immuno-oncology research, and work studying disparities in prostate cancer. His focus on longevity and long-term health maintenance, rather than reactive treatment alone, anchors how Veyda approaches every member’s care.

“You cannot understand a person from a fragment of their history, and a fragment is usually all any provider has,” he says. “A fifteen-minute visit is not long enough to rebuild what was never assembled in the first place. Give a person a complete history that they own and that travels with them, and the fifteen minutes can finally be spent on care instead of catch-up.”

The Team

Behind them is a small but powerful team that turned the idea into something you can open on your phone. Isabella Salant leads marketing and gives Veyda its voice, including most of what you read here in The Protocol. Taylor Garber shapes the brand, down to how a single screen feels. Joel Camacho runs finance and makes the math work behind our biggest promise, so the fundamentals can stay free for life. Cynthia Navis builds the partnerships that determine what earns a place inside Veyda, and Sara Shibani runs the operations that keep all of it moving.

This is the team. Veyda is what they built: one record for your whole health, and an intelligence that actually reasons across all of it. Free, for life.
