Rewards terms
The rules for Veyda Rewards. How you earn points by inviting friends and through Ways to earn, when points arrive, and what points are.
These terms cover Rewards in the Veyda app, where you can earn points by inviting friends and by completing the steps listed in Rewards, which we call Ways to earn. They are part of the Veyda Terms of Service, which still apply, including section 15 on how disputes are resolved. If these terms and the Terms of Service disagree about Rewards, these terms apply.
The Rewards policy explains how we check invites and steps, and it is part of these terms. How points work lists what each step earns and the limits that apply right now.
Who can take part
Rewards is for people with a Veyda Account. Under the Terms of Service, that means you are at least 18 and live in the United States.
- Anyone with a Veyda Account can share an invite code and earn points from invites. Invite points arrive only while you pay for Veyda Membership through the App Store, or have Membership given to you by our team, as explained under Locked points below.
- Ways to earn is for members. You are a member while you have Veyda Membership, and a free trial counts.
- Clinicians on the Veyda team cannot earn points.
What points are
- Points cannot be used for anything yet. There is nothing to spend them on.
- Points have no cash value. They cannot be sold, transferred, moved to another account, or exchanged for money.
- Points in your balance do not expire, and they stay in your account if your Membership ends.
- We may add ways to use points, or an end date for points, later. If we do, we will update these terms and tell you before the change applies to you.
- If you delete your Veyda Account, your points and your Rewards history are deleted with it and cannot be brought back. We keep a limited record that each invite happened, with a coded reference in place of your account, and a record of any action our team took and the reason they recorded for it.
Your invite code
Each Veyda Account has one invite code. It is yours to share, and it cannot be sold or transferred.
Invite codes are for new Veyda Accounts. Your friend enters your code when they sign up, or within a set number of days of opening their account. How points work shows how many.
Each account can accept one invite code, once. You cannot accept your own. Use each iPhone to accept one invite only. We turn down an invite when Apple's iPhone check shows that iPhone has accepted one before. If the check cannot answer, points wait for a closer look.
How you earn from an invite
Two steps earn you points:
- Your friend joins Veyda with your code.
- Your friend pays for Veyda Membership for the first time, through the App Store, and the payment reaches our records before the invite closes. It closes once 400 days have passed since your friend entered your code.
A payment here means a regular App Store payment when Membership starts or renews. A free trial, a free month, an introductory price or a change of plan on its own does not count as a payment here.
Invites are for people who are new to Veyda Membership. If your friend had Veyda Membership before entering your code, a free trial included, their first payment earns no points, and the points for joining may not be paid either.
How points work, and Invite a friend in the app, show what each step earns. The points for a friend are set on the day that friend joins with your code, and later changes do not change them.
Your friend does not earn points from your invite. If that changes, their points follow these terms too.
You can earn invite points for a limited number of friends who join within any 30 days. Friends are counted on the day they join with your code, not the day points arrive. How points work shows the limit. Points over the limit are cancelled.
Locked points
If you are not paying for Veyda Membership when your friend joins with your code, the points for both steps are locked. Locked points show in the app as Locked. They are not in your balance and cannot be used. Only invite points can be locked.
- Start Membership within the number of days How points work lists (currently 90) after your most recent friend joins with your code. Each new friend who joins starts that time again for every point still locked. A friend's first payment does not. Once a deadline has passed, a new friend joining does not reopen it, even during the extra day before its points are cancelled.
- A free trial or free month you start in that time counts once it turns into your first payment. Nothing is cancelled while it runs. If it runs past the deadline, it must turn into a payment on the same subscription within 24 hours of its end, or locked points are cancelled.
- Locked points arrive once you have been paying for Membership for at least 14 days and your friend's step has finished its own 14-day wait, if your payment has not been refunded, you are still paying for Membership then, and the invite has passed the checks in the Rewards policy. If you stop paying first, they wait for you to come back.
- Only Membership you pay for yourself through the App Store counts, or Membership given to you by our team that started by your deadline and is still active. Membership shared with you through Apple Family Sharing does not count.
- The deadline is the end of the last day you have to start Membership, in every time zone, so a payment made on that day counts wherever you are. It can move later, never earlier. Nothing is cancelled until a day after it, which leaves time for a payment made by the deadline to reach our records. The app shows the date when our checks can work it out, and it may not show while we review your payment records. If you allow notifications from Veyda, we try to send a reminder about 30 days and 7 days before, while the points are still set to be cancelled.
- If you have not started Membership by the deadline, locked points are cancelled.
- Our team cannot unlock points by hand.
When invite points arrive
After each step, points wait at least 14 days while we run the checks in the Rewards policy. While they wait, they show as Pending in History, in Rewards, or as Locked if they are locked. Pending and Locked points are not yours yet.
If you stop paying for Membership before points arrive, and you were paying when you earned them or started Membership in time, they wait for you to come back. They are not cancelled.
Some points wait longer, for example until your friend confirms a phone number, until we can confirm a payment in our payment records, or while invite points have reached their program limit. That limit is one overall limit for everyone together, not a limit for each person, and only invite points that arrive in balances count toward it.
Points are cancelled if a check fails, for example if your friend's first payment is refunded within their first 14 days of paid Membership, if the two accounts appear to belong to the same person, or if your friend does not confirm a phone number in time. A refund of your friend's payment after those 14 days does not cancel points.
Points that have arrived stay yours if you later get a refund of your own Membership payment. This is on purpose.
A free month for your friend
Anyone can open a Veyda Account for free, with or without an invite.
An invite can also include a free month of Veyda Membership for your friend. When yours does, the app says so.
- The free month comes as an Apple offer code, and Apple decides who can use it.
- It is for friends who have not had Veyda Membership before, a free trial included, and who have confirmed a phone number.
- Each friend can receive it once.
- There are limits. One inviter can pass the free month to a set number of friends in any 30 days, and we give out a set number each day across all of Veyda. How points work shows the limit for each inviter. While a limit is reached, an invite does not include the free month.
- When the free month ends, Membership renews at the standard price shown in the app, unless your friend cancels in their Apple subscription settings at least 24 hours before it ends.
- We may pause or end this offer at any time.
Ways to earn
Members can earn points by completing the steps listed in Rewards, such as saying hello to Sage, connecting Apple Health or adding a past lab report. How points work lists each step and what it earns.
- Each step pays once per account, unless its terms say otherwise. Add Past Labs pays once for each collection date, up to 5. The Membership bonus pays for each paid month, up to the limit in How points work.
- Points for a step go straight to your balance once our records show it is done. They do not wait 14 days, except the Membership bonus.
- Steps you did before you became a member count once you become one, if our records still show them then, for example if Apple Health is still connected. Starting a free trial counts as becoming a member.
- A step earns points only while it is offered in Rewards.
- We check each step in Veyda's own records, never from what the app reports.
- The Membership bonus. Each paid month of Membership earns points, and a yearly payment earns them for all 12 months. Only payments, as described under How you earn from an invite, made from 4 p.m. Pacific Time on November 4, 2026 count. Bonus points arrive 14 days or more after each payment, once we have confirmed it in our payment records. While a bonus waits, it does not show as Pending. Before it arrives, it is cancelled if that payment, or a later one on the same subscription, is refunded, or if we record a refund on that subscription without the date of the payment it refunds. If your Membership has ended when a bonus is due, it waits until you are a member again.
- Promotions. From time to time we may run a promotion for a limited time, with its own points, dates and terms, shown on its card in Rewards. Only steps you complete between its start and its end count. If it asks you to activate it, only steps you complete after you activate it count. Some promotions have a limited number of places.
Sharing your code fairly
- Share your code with people you know, in ways they would welcome.
- If you post it where many people can see it, such as on social media, say that you may earn points when people join.
- Do not offer money or gifts to anyone for using your code.
- Do not create accounts, or ask anyone to create accounts, just to earn points.
- Do not share your code in a way that breaks the Terms of Service or the law.
When we hold, cancel or remove points
We may hold or cancel points that have not arrived, remove points earned by mistake or against these terms, or turn off an invite code, if we believe an invite or a step breaks these terms. If we turn off your code, you may not get a new one. Misuse of Rewards can also lead to action on your account under the Terms of Service.
Pausing, changing or ending Rewards
- We can pause Rewards at any time. While it is paused, invite codes cannot be accepted, no points arrive, and Ways to earn pays nothing. Points that were waiting go through the usual checks once Rewards is back on. A pause does not extend any deadline, such as the days to enter a code, to confirm a phone number or to start Membership.
- We can change what a step earns, the limits in How points work and the steps in Ways to earn, and we can add or end steps and promotions. A change applies from when we make it. It does not change points already in your balance, or the points set for a friend who already joined with your code. A change to the days you have to start Membership applies from the next friend who joins, and never moves a deadline earlier.
- If we change these terms in a way that matters, or end Rewards, we will tell you as section 16 of the Terms of Service describes. Points have no cash value, so no money is owed for them if Rewards ends.
Your information
Rewards checks invites and steps with information Veyda already holds. For invites, that is account details such as email and phone confirmation, whether an iPhone has accepted an invite before, and Membership payment status from our payment records, for your friend and for you. For Ways to earn, it is whether each step is done, for example that Apple Health is connected, that you have sent Sage a message, or that a lab report you added has a collection date and at least one result added to your health record. When someone opens an invite link, we also keep a coded form of their network address for a short time, to limit repeated checks.
Rewards keeps what it needs to pay each step once, such as which lab collection dates have earned points. It does not keep your results or what you said to Sage, and nothing about your health is shared with anyone through Rewards. The Rewards policy explains each check, and the Privacy Policy covers how Veyda handles your information.
Veyda does not tell you who used your code, and does not share your name with the friends you invite.
